Pastor Timothy Blau was born September 15, 1965 in Susanville, California. He spent his younger years in Las Vegas, Nevada. In 1975 the family moved to Phoenix, Arizona where Tim attended Junior and Senior High School. Tim then started college at Christ College, Irvine, California and graduated from there in 1988. Tim then went on to the Seminary in St. Louis, Missouri and graduated from there in 1992. Tim served his Vicarage in 1990-1991 at Peace Lutheran Church in Arvada, Colorado. 

 Tim's first Call right out of the Seminary in 1992 was to be Youth Pastor at Christ Greenfield in Gilbert, Arizona. He then received a second Call in 1994 to be Chaplain and Campus Pastor at Lutheran High School in Orange, California; His third Call in 1999 took him to Salem Lutheran Church in Orange, California to be Youth and Family Pastor. Then, Tim's fourth call was issued on March 9th from this congregation at Trinity and after a visit here he accepted.

 While at Christ Greenfield, Tim met his wife Teresa and they were married on August 6. 1994. Teresa graduated from Concordia University in Irvine in May 2002. She currently teaches first grade at St. Paul Lutheran in Orange. They have two children, Kenny and Natalie Riley.  Kenny is a senior in high school and enjoys working, video games and drinking coffee at Starbucks.  Natalie is a junior in high school and enjoys reading, watching movies, especially "Lord of the Rings", babysitting and playing with her cat, Tucker. Teresa enjoys art and crafts and playing a little golf with Tim. When she gets here she would like to do some tutoring in her home and teaching art in the local schools. Tim enjoys the outdoors and is currently training their puppy, Ginger a German shepherd mix. He likes to play golf attend sporting events and theatre productions. His real challenge is to get up nerve to take dancing lessons with Teresa.
